The College of Engineering and Computer Science, working with the Colleges of Science and Business, received a $2.6 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to establish a scholarship program in the burgeoning and critical field of cybersecurity. The NSF’s CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service program seeks to increase the number of qualified cybersecurity professionals working for federal, state, local, territorial and tribal governments.

FAU Named Fulbright HSI Leader by the U.S. Department of State
Florida Atlantic University has been named as a Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institution Leader for 2023. Each year, the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs recognizes the strong engagement of select Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) with the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international academic exchange program. This is the first time FAU has been featured as part of this initiative.
