Florida Atlantic Hosts Noblecon 19th with President Bush Fireside Chat

Florida Atlantic collaborated with Noble Capital Markets to host 1,400 event participants for its two-day 19th Annual Small Cap Investor Conference, NobleCon19. Renowned for connecting high-growth companies with vital capital, the conference showcased over 80+ executive team presentations at the University’s College of Business Executive Education, with its 52,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility.

With a focus on fostering interactive business environments, networking, and investment exploration, NobleCon19 went beyond the conventional conference experience. Attendees experienced stimulating panel discussions featuring world-class opinion leaders, exciting networking events, and captivating keynotes, including FAU’s Dusty May, NCAA 2022-2023 Coach of the Year, and Steven Cress, Seeking Alpha’s Head of Quant.

The event also included an hour-long live fireside chat with the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush. In a personable and casual format, moderated by Noble’s Director of Research, Michael Kupinski, attendees listened to President Bush speak on the upcoming presidential race and current global geo-political events along with immigration and the national debt. 

“NobleCon19 showcased great companies and great opportunities, and hosting President Bush’s chat was a real highlight,” stated Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of FAU’s College of Business. “Our financial industry is an important, integral part of the economy, and I can’t think of a better way to expose our students to the importance of emerging growth companies than to host these executive teams on our campus,” said Gropper.

The strategic decision to host the conference on Florida Atlantic’s Boca Raton campus reflects Noble’s longstanding relationship with the university, spanning over a decade. In addition to playing a pivotal role in developing the College’s Financial Analyst Program, the Noble Internship Program has benefited both Noble and business graduates. Moving the conference to the Executive Education facilities provided a cutting-edge backdrop for an immersive conference experience.
