Although most of our students are happy, healthy, and stable, there are also those who are experiencing great loss, trauma, homelessness, abuse, food insecurity, etc. There’s only so much we can do, but we do have a few valuable support systems on campus. I’m hoping you might be willing to circulate these around the College of Business.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, so Florida Atlantic will be raising awareness for the entire month. There will be events, activities, and donation opportunities available across all six Florida Atlantic campuses. It would be greatly appreciated if you shared our flyer with your faculty, classes, and students!
We would like to highlight the following events:

- We are collecting sheets/linens (twin & full) and duffle bags for local domestic violence shelters. Items can be dropped off at Campus Recreation, Student Union first floor, and each residential hall

The office would greatly appreciate spreading the word among the staff about our linens/sheets and duffle bag drive.
Thank you in advance for your time and support as we begin Domestic Violence Awareness Month!
Attached is a flyer that is shareable of our events in more detail.
