Joseph Patton, Instructor, Department of Management Programs, was part of a team that presented a paper titled, “Factors Influencing External Compliance Costs in Small and Mid-Sized Municipalities—A Study of Connecticut Towns,” at the American Accounting Association Government and Nonprofit 2022 midyear meeting conference (March 11-12, 2022).
Maya Thevenot, Associate Professor, School of Accounting, with co-authors have had their paper, “Cutting Through Complexity: Segment Disclosure and Pricing Efficiency,” accepted for publication in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance (ABS 3 and on the SOA Preferred Journals list).
Award Winners
Ting Levy, Senior Instructor, Department of Economics, has been selected to receive a University Award for Excellence and Innovation in Undergraduate Teaching for 2022.
Tania Tucker, Academic Advisor, Student Academic Services, has been selected to receive a University Award for Excellence and Innovation in Undergraduate Advising for 2022. Tania advises for all undergraduate programs and also serves as the liaison for the Education Abroad program.
