Florida’s Atlantic University’s Hospitality and Tourism Management is among six College of Business degree programs ranked nationally by the independent website Intelligent.com.
Hospitality and Tourism Management was rated sixth and deemed to have the “best local employee network.” Also ranked were: School of Accounting Executive Programs (11); Master’s of Business Administration (13); Master’s of International Business (12); Marketing (23); and Master’s in Health Administration (39).
"It is a pleasure to learn that Intelligent.com has taken notice of our rapidly expanding hospitality and tourism management program,” said Peter Ricci, Ed.D. director of FAU’s program. ”As one of the rare AACSB-accredited programs in the world, our program combines the excellence that future leaders need in terms of guest service and culture-building, combined with the traditional core business skills of accounting, finance, marketing, and organizational behavior. This is a true testament to the strong success of our alumni."
Seattle-based Intelligent said the rankings include more than 2,200 accredited colleges and universities. The website uses a scoring system that includes student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third-party evaluations. In addition, the website said programs are rated based on curriculum, graduation rate, reputation and post-graduate employment.
