Executive Forum’s Student Case Competition - and they won!
As part of the annual competition, each student team was affiliated with a local hospital and respective mentor, an example of Florida Atlantic’s commitment to community engagement. Students had the opportunity to network with senior healthcare executives at the competition, and the annual student conference and networking event.
Florida Atlantic’s undergraduate student team took first place in their category and earned $1,000 for the University. They analyzed a case about a federally funded community health center, C.W. Williams in North Carolina. The teams were required to apply the current content of Accountable Care Plans and changes associated with Medicare such as alternative payment models and bundled payment plans.
